ABOUT US

At ProComfort Care we pride ourselves on our personal approach and flexibility to work with clients, based on where they are physically, emotionally and financially. The director of ProComfort Care, Sharon Kimchand, has worked in homecare for many years and has witnessed the difficulties experienced by older adults as they try to transition out of their home and into an alternative venue for care.  Such a transition can be very difficult not only for the individual, but for their supporting family members as well.  These alternatives can also be premature and more costly than staying at home.  Often all that is needed to ensure and sustain mental and physical health is quality care even on a part-time or hourly basis in a familiar setting like the home.

Likewise, as a parent with young children to be cared for, having a nanny can make all the difference.  Live-in nannies not only provide childcare, but also assist with light housekeeping and cooking, thereby allowing you more quality time to spend with your family.  At ProComfort Care we are parents ourselves who understand the value of family time. Our mission is to provide more Canadians with quality care in the home, enabling them a life of true choice.  We are committed to providing service and care that promotes peace-of-mind for our clients, and an ethical approach that supports our caregivers.
